Abstract:
To provide a method for producing 2 to 4C olefins from a thermocracking raw material comprising a hydrocracked cycle oil and waxes being excess distillates in crude oil refining.
Olefins such as ethylene are produced by thermocracking a hydrocracked cycle oil obtained by hydrocracking heavy gas oil obtained by the atmospheric distillation of crude oil and/or a middle distillate obtained by the vacuum distillation of an atmospheric distillation residue and/or waxes obtained by dewaxing after hydrofining.
