Abstract:
To realize a method for producing a particulate water-absorbing resin composition, capable of reducing damages to surfaces thereof and capable of preventing deterioration of physical properties thereof.
This method for producing the particulate water-absorbing resin composition comprises crosslinking surfaces of water-absorbing resin particles by using a crosslinking agent to conduct surface treatment, then adding an additive for furnishing the water-absorbing resin particles with various functions to the particles, and conducting a process for mixing the water-absorbing resin particles with the additive, while conducting a process for subjecting the water-absorbing resin particles including agglomerates to particle-size regulation.
