Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous substance from the burning residual dross of paper making sludge by which paper making sludge occurring in a paper making stage can efficiently be reutilized, and an inexpensive porous substance having excellent adsorbing performance can be obtained.
SOLUTION: A suspension of the incineration residue of paper making sludge and water is subjected to hydrothermal treatment to produce a porous substance.
