Abstract:
To provide a powdered coating which is used for electrostatically coating substrates and has an electrochemical anticorrosive action.
This powdered coating is obtained by mixing 40 to 60 wt.% of zinc powder with 60 to 40 wt.% of an epoxy resin or polyester resin, curing the mixture, and then finely crushing the cured product. The obtained powdered coating is electrostatically coated on a steel material to form a coating film. Rust does not generate by the anticorrosive effect of the resin coating film and by the electrochemical action of the mixed zinc powder, even when the coating film is damaged.
