Abstract:
To propose: a powder tea obtained by processing raw tea leaves, followed by pulverization; and a method for manufacturing a powder tea composition, specifically, a novel method for manufacturing a powder tea by which tea flavor can be sufficiently generated during eating.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a powder tea includes: a heating step of obtaining chlorophyll-adjusted tea leaves by adjusting a chlorophyll content of plucked tea leaves by heating; and a pulverization step of obtaining powder tea by pulverizing the chlorophyll-adjusted tea leaves.SELECTED DRAWING: None
