Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a resin-coated steel sheet having excellent surface appearance.

In the method for producing a resin-coated steel sheet, a hot dip Zn-Al based alloy plated layer is formed on the surface of a steel sheet by dipping the steel sheet in a hot dip Zn-Al based alloy plating bath, then removing the steel sheet from the plating bath, and cooling the same, and resin coating is performed after performing chemical conversion treatment of the hot dip Zn-Al based alloy plated steel sheet. The cooling rate of the steel sheet removed from the plating bath to 250°C is 1-15°C/s, and the hot dip Zn-Al based alloy plated layer contains 1.0-10 mass% of Al, 0.2-1.0 mass% of Mg, and 0.005-0.1 mass% of Ni with the balance comprising Zn and unavoidable impurities.
