To provide a method for producing an excellent single cord that can produce cord rolls from a resin-dipped raw cord fabric through a simple, labor-saved, and space-saved method.
In this producing method, the cord fabric is formed with a cord as warp and a low strength yarn as weft, then the cord fabric is treated with a resin, and a roll form of the cord fabric is obtained by winding the end part in the widthwise direction of the cord fabric with a winding means for winding out the cord fabric, thereby producing the single cord for reinforcing an elastic molded product for forming cord rolls. In this case, a plurality of cords are drawn out simultaneously by arranging cord guides on the winding positions and the fluctuation of the winding positions for individual cords is detected.
