Abstract:

To provide a compacting method under no pressure by which an optional complicated shape which has been hard to be obtained by the conventional method is made possible.

The method for producing a sintered body includes a step (i) where sinterable powders (a) are flowed into a female mold with a desired shape and are charged thereto, a step (ii) where a mixture containing a cyanoacrylate adhesive and a diluent therefor is infiltrated into the spaces of the powders charged to the above mold, a step (iii) where the diluent is removed, and the powders are compacted, a step (iv) where the compact is discharged from the mold, and a step (v) where the compact is sintered to obtain a sintered body having a desired shape.
