Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition which is used for optical elements and can more improve light transmittance and thermal expansion degree than those by conventional methods, and to provide an optical element using the same.
This method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition containing inorganic fine particles in a thermoplastic resin is characterized by comprising a process for mixing the inorganic fine particles, an organic solvent and the thermoplastic resin in the presence of high pressure carbon dioxide and a process for removing the organic solvent from the mixture solution.
