To provide a method for producing a titanium plate capable of reducing a projection material remaining on a titanium plate and suppressing deterioration in a fine sight and strength.
The method for producing a titanium plate comprises: a pretreatment step of subjecting a titanium plate 10 after hot rolling to shot blasting using a ferrous projection material 20; a first step of grinding treatment in which the titanium plate 10 subjected to shot blasting shown in (a) is ground using a grinding brush or nitric hydrofluoric acid pickling in which pickling is performed at a pickling temperature of 30 to 70°C using a nitric hydrofluoric acid aqueous solution including hydrofluoric acid of 1 to 8 mass% and nitric acid of 5 to 15 mass%; and a second step of subjecting the titanium plate 10 after the first step shown in (b) to pickling using a ferric chloride aqueous solution having an oxidation reduction potential of 500 mV vs. SCE.
