PURPOSE: To record an event on an operation in an automobile radar system.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission and reception module 1 is provided with a radar antenna 1b, and data such as an approaching speed with respect to a detected target, distance between an automobile and the target, and automobile speed are recorded through a control module 2 and signal processing module 3 in an event recording device 5. A break pressure, automobile acceleration/ deceleration, direction converting speed and steering angle or the like are recorded through an input and output module 4 and the signal processing module 3 in the event recording device 5. The event recording device 5 functions also as a normal traveling monitor, records a traveling distance, an average speed, the fuel cost, the residual fuel, and the traveling compass or the like, and moreover records maintenance information such as an oil temperature, an engine temperature, a transmission liquid temperature and the engine timing.
