Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for easily recovering aluminum from aluminum- based composite materials reinforced with inorg. materials.
CONSTITUTION: The aluminum-based composite materials reinforced with the inorg. materials are placed on a flux for removing the oxides of the aluminum and are heated in this state to ≥500°C, by which the aluminum is recovered as the flux is substituted with the aluminum in the composite materials.
