Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering precious metals which enables recovery of precious metals with high efficiency and allows reduction of discharge of waste liquid (environmental load) associated with the recovery of precious metals because the liquid amount does not increase even when the metal ion desorption solution is reused.SOLUTION: A method of recovering precious metals includes: a precious metal adsorption step of bringing a solution containing a precious metal ion in contact with a precious metal ion separating agent; a precious metal desorption step of bringing the precious metal ion separating agent having absorbed the precious metal ion in contact with a precious metal ion desorbent to desorb the precious metal; and a precious metal recovery step of recovering the precious metal from the precious metal desorption solution containing the precious metal ion. The precious metal ion desorption solution after recovery of the precious metal in the precious metal recovery step is added with an acidic substance and used as the precious metal ion desorbent in the precious metal desorption step.
