To provide a tantalum metal powder through recovering a tantalum metal powder produced in each step in a process of manufacturing a tantalum capacitor by a wet method.
This method includes recovering the tantalum metal powder from at least one of the following steps in the process of manufacturing a formed body of the tantalum capacitor by using a water-soluble solvent or a hydrocarbon base solvent; (I) for obtaining a dispersion liquid of the tantalum metal powder, (II) for obtaining a surface-treated tantalum metal powder by removing a water-soluble solvent, (III) for obtaining the dispersion liquid of the tantalum metal and a resin by stirring the tantalum metal powder, the resin and a solvent, and (IV) for applying the dispersion liquid of the tantalum metal and the resin onto a substrate.
