Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently separating valuable metal in a waste battery and recovering the valuable metal effectively and inexpensively.SOLUTION: A method for recovering valuable metal from waste battery has a calcining step S1 for calcining a waste battery, a crushing step S2 for crushing a calcined product, and a sieving and separating step S3 for spraying a gas onto a crushed product to sieve and separate into oversized sieved matter and undersized sieved matter. In the sieving and separating step, preferably, the gas spraying onto the crushed product is performed from at least two places.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
