Abstract:
To provide a method for recycling of a liquid crystal panel, capable of recycling indium being valuables and glass being a majority of weight as materials, by safely separating the materials from the waste liquid crystal panel using little labor and energy without the use of large scale equipment.
The method is provided for recycling the liquid crystal panel in which a polymer film is stuck on one side of a glass substrate and a rare metal is deposited on the other side. The method includes a crushing and separation process of crushing the liquid crystal panel by hitting the panel, and of separating the crushed pieces of the glass substrate from the polymer film for recovery.
