Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the pH of an anionic polyurethane dispersion useful for coating agents, etc., while improving the harmlessness to human body, work safety, and resistance to coagulation of the dispersion by adding a compd. having a specified number of ester groups and containing no specified acid group to the dispersion.
CONSTITUTION: The pH of a polyurethane dispersion is reduced by adding a compd. which has up to 4 ester groups and does not have an acid, acid anhydride, or acid halide group to the dispersion.
