Title:
METHOD FOR RELIEVING IRRADIATED OBJECT OUT OF IRRADIATION REGION IN A ELECTRON BEAM IRRADIATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3736075
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for relieving a belt shape irradiated object out of electron beam irradiation region without cutting.
SOLUTION: On a shield box 12 of an electron beam irradiation device, an upper rail 26 and a lower rail 28 are detachably fixed along the direction of the width W of an object to be irradiated 10. A maintenance door 20 is made openable by using the upper and lower rails 26 and 28 and moving the object to be irradiated 10 in the width W direction together with an electron beam receiver 18. When the irradiated object 10 is let relieve from the electron irradiation region 8, the maintenance door 20 is moved to open in the width direction of the irradiated object together with the electron beam receiver 18, the upper and lower rails 26 and 28 are detached and the irradiated object 10 is drawn out of a shield box from the opening behind the maintenance door 20. Then, the upper and lower rails 26 and 28 are fixed to the original position by positioning the irradiated object 10 drawn to the back of them, the irradiated object 10 is held with the upper and lower rails in the drawn state and the maintenance door 20 is closed together with the electron beam receiver 18.
