Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain plasma pharmaceuticals holding coagulation factors which do not contain blood type antibodies by bringing a compsn. which contains undesirable antibodies, etc., and is derived from the blood into contact with a specific resin-antigen conjugate, thereby efficiently removing the undesirable antibodies.
CONSTITUTION: The compsn. which contains the undesirable antibodies, such as blood type antibodies, contains ≥1 kinds of the coagulation factors and is derived from the blood is brought into contact with the resin-antigen conjugate, such as alkyl methacrylate polymer or microgranular porous glass, which is capable of removing the antibodies without substantially removing the coagulation factor from the compsn. The compsn. is treated in such a manner that the treated compsn. holds ≥85%, in average, coagulation factor but does not substantially contain the undesirable antibodies described above. The undesirable antibodies are thus removed from the compsn. which contains the undesirable antibodies, contains ≥1 kinds of the coagulation factors and is derived from the blood.
