Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING HARMFUL SUBSTANCE IN EXHAUST GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03270719
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the formation of the harmful components in exhaust gas and to make nitrogen oxide harmless by reducing the same by injecting an aminic chemical agent in exhaust gas at 300°C or higher to perform the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide due to the unreacted component of the chemical agent.

CONSTITUTION: An aminic chemical agent consisting of ammonia, an ammonium salt and/or an amine compound is injected in exhaust gas at 300°C or higher to suppress the formation of polychlorodibenzofran and polychlorodibenzodioxine due to the dimerization of a chlorobenzene compound. The selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide due to the unreacted components of the aminic chemical agent is performed on the downstream side of the aminic chemical agent injection process to make nitrogen oxide harmless by reduction.
