Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING MOLDING SAND AND DEVICE THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3128735
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the effective disintegration and separation of molding sand by hitting a casting with a hammer while giving vibration to the casting fixed to a supporting member.
SOLUTION: The casting 31 such as a cylinder head, etc., is laid on a receiving table 23 through projection 34 and positional pins 35 and pushed from the upper surface by using an air cylinder in a fixed mechanism 33 and fixed. Thereafter, a vibrating means 20 combined with an electromagnet 28 and a supporting spring 25 of the receiving table 23 are worked to give the vibration having carryable property to the casting 31 and the molding sand of core sand, etc., is disintegrated and discharged in the carrying direction of the vibration. At the same time, the shock with the hammer means (air hammer) 43 is continuously applied and the molding sand stuck to the casting 31 is surely disintegrated and separated. At this time, the hammer means 43 is directly combined with the receiving table 23 through a gate frame 42 and has a structure which does not exert the influence on the vertical vibration by the electric magnet 28 of the vibrating means 24. Further, this vibration is regulated to be in the fine vibrated range having 60 times/sec frequency and about 0.2 mm amplitude.
