Abstract:
To provide a method for removing an oxide film from metal powder that removes an oxide film from untreated metal powder, giving treated metal powder that has its alloy composition in a molten state not to change from a desired composition; a method for producing metal powder that gives recycled metal powder using the treated metal powder obtained by the method for removing the oxide film from the metal powder; and a method for producing sintered metal that gives sintered metal using the recycled metal powder obtained by the method for producing the metal powder.SOLUTION: A method for removing an oxide film from metal powder includes the steps of: putting, into a solution containing a polar organic solvent and alkaline substance, untreated metal powder having a core particle and an oxide film thereon; and removing at least part of the oxide film from the untreated metal powder using the solution for obtaining, the treated metal powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
