To provide a method to secure perfect quality of a junction part of a part to be replaced complete in the method for replacing the part to joint first and second components of a primary circulation system of a nuclear reactor.
To execute operation of machining and testing of an inner surface of joint end parts which are mutually welded by a remote controlling program from inside of the pipe 8, positioning is performed by introducing a means for operation from the components 3, 4 of the primary circulation system 2 to inside the pipe 8. Especially used for replacing a part of cold leg of the primary circulation system, the method uses the means for operation consisting of a robot arm fixed to a supporting chassis supported by an undercarriage to insert the means inside the cold leg 8 through a vortex chamber 9 of a primary pump 4 of the nuclear reactor and the undercarriage moves the means for operation inside the cold leg 8.
