Abstract:
To restrain the occurrence of crack on a slide plate in a slide valve and to improve the durability of the slide plate.
In the slide valve which has plate bricks arranged at the pouring outlet part in molten metal treating equipment and provided with a molten metal through-hole 5a for controlling the flow-out of the molten metal and adjusting the opening degree of the molten metal through-hole by sliding one of these plate bricks to control the flow-out of the molten metal, the slide plate 5 for sliding, is fixed by pressing the whole or a part of range except the side surface corresponding to the molten metal through-hole 5a on the side surface parts 5d in the longitudinal direction in a slide frame 10.
