Abstract:
To provide a measuring method enabling a wide range of measurements from low to high concentration.
Using two or more enzymes with the same substrate and different affinities(Km values), an enzyme enabling substrate concentration to be quantified in optimum sensitivity correspondingly to substrate concentration is selected; thereby a wide range of such substrate concentration is quantified. When the concentration of the substrate is low, the concentration is measured using an enzyme with lower Km value, while when the concentration of the substrate is high, the concentration is measured using an enzyme with higher Km value. Thus, the objective high-sensitivity analysis can be accomplished.
