Abstract:
To provide a method for separation treatment of glass from a glass product capable of obtaining good glass cullet usable for a raw material of manufacturing plate glass with a high recovery rate from the glass product prepared by bonding glass to a support member with an adhesive composed of an organic compound, and applicable also for a double insulating glass made of a component material of glass laminate.
A glass part can be subjected to separation treatment from the support member or a metal spacer by irradiating heat bonded sections of the glass product with near infrared rays to soften or deteriorate the adhesive.
