Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting and dismounting of a photosensitive body and removal of jammed paper, and maintenance and inspection by turning the holder of the photosensitive body to a lower position apart from the upper structure, and an upper position near the upper structure.

CONSTITUTION: The main body 1 of a copying machine is composed of an upper structure 2 and a lower structure 3. The upper structure 2 can be freely turned around the support shaft 4 of a supporting member in the vertical upward and downward directions, and it is connected to the lower structure in such a state. The rail 19 is a holding member for holding a photosensitive body housed in the main body 1 is arranged on the inside of both sides of the upper structure and each has a section of a channel-like shape. This rail 19 can be turned around the support shaft 20 in the vertical direction in a prescribed turning angle. When the upper structure 2 is turned upward, the rail 19 of the holder is moved to a lower position apart from the upper structure 2.
