Abstract:
To provide a method of setting a welding condition in a spot welding apparatus that can set the welding condition effectively in a short time.
An energization test is conducted for each welding point by using a welding robot 2 to be used actually in advance and through a portable welding condition-setting apparatus 1 so as to measure a resistance value at the energization. Then a condition is calculated by calculating an actual calorific value based on: the resistance value measured by the portable welding condition-setting apparatus 1; welding current; and energization time. In calculation, a welding current value is set while placing the highest priority on the energization time set based on cycle time and production number.
