To provide an Ni-based alloy weld metal having favorable crack resistance and bead appearance, and an Ni-based alloy covered electrode used to obtain the same and favorable in welding workability.
The contents of Cr, Fe, Mn, Ti, Si, Cu, N, Al, C, Mg, Mo, B, Zr, Nb+Ta in the Ni-based alloy weld metal are appropriately defined to restrict the amounts of Co, P and S in unavoidable impurities. In particular, the weld metal high in crack resistance is obtained by defining the content of Mn within an appropriate range, and occurrence of welding defects such as pits, blow holes and the like is suppressed by appropriately regulating B and Zn as regulated components. As for the Ni-based alloy covered electrode, the weld metal favorable in welding workability and having a favorable bead appearance is obtained by defining the contents of a slug forming agent, a metal fluoride and carbonate as flux components within an appropriate range, and regulating the amounts of Mn, Nb+Ta and Fe in the flux.
