Abstract:

To provide a method for stabilizing a nucleoside or a nucleotide or a derivative thereof used for an enzymatic assaying reagent, etc., for a physiologically active substance, e.g. aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, pyruvic acid, a neutral fat, urea nitrogen or an inorganic phosphorus in a biocomponent used for clinical diagnosis in a solution and to provide a composition therefor.

The composition is obtained by making an antibiotic coexist in the solution containing the nucleoside or nucleotide or the derivative thereof and a substance degrading the nucleoside or nucleotide or the derivative thereof as an impurity. Thereby, the nucleoside or nucleotide or the derivative thereof can be kept stable in the solution state over a long period and good reactivity can be maintained for various kinds of samples.
