Abstract:

To provide a method and a system for controlling vehicle speed for simply improving running safety in the case of a poor visibility, or running road-surface being wet.

In the method for controlling vehicle speed, the vehicle speed is controlled as a function of visibility or conditions of the running road-surface. The vehicle speed control system (15) comprises a controller (20) in which vehicle speed is controlled as a function of visibility or conditions of running road-surface.
