Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a message even in a protocol layer where the message cannot substantially be identified.
SOLUTION: In the address conversion method where a transmission-side transmitter supporting a prescribed protocol layer decides a conversion destination address in a state of an address field of an output protocol unit signal corresponding to an input protocol unit signal on the basis of a conversion source address in a state of an address field used for selection of a transmission path of the input protocol unit signal, only part of the address field set in the protocol unit signal for selecting the transmission path is converted as transmission path selection data, and the other part is converted into message identification data used to identify a message transmitted between the transmission-side transmitter and a receiver-side transmitter connected to the former transmitter and the conversion destination address is composed of the transmission path selection data and the message identification data.
