Abstract:
PURPOSE: To feed clothing at selective different relative positions automatically to a handling device, by improving a system for feeding articles of clothing hung on respective transport hangers to the handling device and delivering out empty transport hangers after transfer thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A feed conveyor system has at leas one front-stage conveyor 29 and a plurality of feed conveyors 30 and 31 connecting to a common transfer conveyor 32. At least one feed conveyor 31 out of two is provided with a deflector mechanism including deflection loops 37 and 42 for forcibly turning transport hangers 20 passing through the feed conveyor 31.
