Abstract:

To prevent normal temperature tar component in thermal decomposition gas from being condensed.

Thermal decomposition gas piping 13 is coupled with the separation chamber 9 of an external heating thermal decomposition furnace I for thermally decomposing refuse 4 by heating it indirectly with high temperature gas 12 introduced from a hot air furnace 11 through high temperature gas introduction piping 21 so that thermal decomposition gas 70 can be taken out. A branch pipe 13a from the high temperature gas introduction piping 21 is coupled with the thermal decomposition gas piping 13 at the upstream side end part thereof. The branch pipe 13a is provided with a flow regulation damper 27. A thermal decomposition gas temperature regulator 28 is provided at the downstream side end part of the thermal decomposition gas piping 13. Based on a detection value of the thermal decomposition gas temperature regulator 28, the flow regulation damper 27 is operated to regulate the volume of thermal decomposition gas 7 being blown into the high temperature gas 12 such that the temperature of the thermal decomposition gas 7 flowing through the thermal decomposition gas piping 13 is equal to or higher than the thermal decomposition temperature of the refuse 4.
