PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually manage the production of produced food, to automatically perform discount sale or discarding processing and to exactly manage a loss for each article class by automatically accumulating data on discounted articles, discarded articles or shoplifted articles.
SOLUTION: When pricing an unspecific article, an identification number for individually identifying articles is printed on a price label with a bar code, and the production data of the relevant article are stored in relation with the identification number. At checkout, the identification number is read from the price label of the article. On the basis of this identification number, the production data of the relevant article are read out and on the basis of the read production data, registering processing of the relevant article is performed. Besides, by providing information on the working date and time of the relevant article in the identification number, the limit of tasting or discarding can be automatically decided.
