Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten a time for connection and to provide a mobile terminal network immune to faults by autonomously performing the position retrieval of mobile terminals while having mobile terminal information including the position information and attribute information of all the mobile terminals in respective exchanges.
CONSTITUTION: Respective exchanges 100-102 are provided with data storage devices 70 for storing the mobile terminal information. When a mobile terminal 500 moves in radio zones 300-302, the exchange at the move destination broadcasts and reports the mobile terminal information showing that the mobile terminal belongs to that exchange, to all the other exchanges and all the exchanges store the same mobile terminal information data base. When any exchange receives a call originating request defining a certain mobile terminal as the call incoming destination, it is discriminated which exchange the mobile terminal belongs to at present while referring to its own data base and the connection to the mobile terminal is requested to that exchange to which the mobile terminal belongs.
