Abstract:

To provide a method and a system for performing management and processing of secret information readily in safety when a processing service using the secret information which must not be leaked to a third party is provided on a network.

Using at least two anti-tamper operation units holding a pair of public key and a private key individually, secret information is encrypted using respective public keys before being processed. Resulting encrypted secret information is stored in a secret information management unit and when the secret information is processed, secret information encrypted by the public key of an anti-tampering operation unit being used is transmitted from the secret information management unit to the anti-tampering operation unit where the secret information is processed.
