To solve difficulties in swiftly and accurately monitoring at all times the detecting status of a communicable disease in a hospital or the distribution status of communicable disease patients, in a information system for conducting hospital services such as medical examination and inspection.
The information system comprises a means 101 of collecting from the outside inspection results relating to the communicable disease, a means 102 of storing them, a means 103 of monitoring from the inspection results the detecting status of the communicable disease in the hospital or the distribution status of the communicable disease patients, and a means 104 of externally outputting related information including the monitoring results and their bases such as inspection results, an aggregated result, and a hospital map, to a screen, a form, an external storing medium, a communication, an e-mail, or the like. The system produces effective results for achieving the speeding-up and laborsaving of tasks to prevent and control in-hospital infection. Further, early detection of an in-hospital infection epidemic by scientific judgement based on grounds is possible, improving the quality of the services.
