Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fast retrieve, distribute and display a three-dimensional CG model in response to a request from a user through a network and further to simply generate a display image of each scene.
SOLUTION: A three-dimensional CG model display server 1 receives an input of information about a three-dimensional CG model, analyzes geometry information, generates display image information by utilizing the geometry information and designated image configuration information, analyzes display request information sent from a three-dimensional CG model display client 2 to extract a display request parameter, retrieves the display image information requested to be displayed from a three-dimensional CG model database 16 on the basis of the display request parameter and transmits the display image information to the three-dimensional CG display client 2 on the basis of retrieval results.
