A cost reduction support server installed in a cost reduction support center is connected to user's power consumption measuring terminal and data terminal via a communication network such as the Internet. The power consumption measuring terminal has a current measuring means, a conversion means, and a power consumption transmission means. The cost reduction support server has a power consumption reception and retention means, an operation and retention means, a power saving know-how retention means, and a presentation means. The data terminal has a reception and display means.
