CONSTITUTION: Workpieces 5aW5f contained in a carrier 6 are transferred in a way similar to a conventional method to a table 1 by means of a pickup device 3 to perform a work. In this case, the workpieces 5e and 5f are left in the carrier 6. The workpiece 5a, the work of which is completed, the workpiece 5e in the carrier 6 are taken up by means of hands 8 and 9 of a pickup 3 to rotate it in a 180° arc. The workpiece 5e held by means of the hand 9 is relayed by a hand 21 of a moving device 20, and is carried to the original position of the carrier 6 for containing. Similar operation is repeated on all the workpieces. This constitution enables work to be executed in a lot unit.
