Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a print sheet capable of preventing sheet peeling from occurring; a method for evaluating the print sheet for previously predicting the occurrence of sheet peeling; and a method for testing the wet peeling strength of the print sheet.SOLUTION: The method for testing the wet peeling strength of a print sheet comprises: cutting the print sheet to sample a rectangular test piece; controlling humidity after sticking three pressure sensitive adhesive tape in parallel to the longitudinal direction on one surface of the test piece; peeling the print sheet in the longitudinal direction by the pressure sensitive adhesive tape stuck on the center; and measuring the wet peeling strength of the print sheet by a constant-speed extension tensile test machine. The wet peeling strength of the print sheet is desirably measured by controlling the moisture of the print sheet to a humidity of 20-25%, and the occurrence of sheet peeling in an offset rotary press can be predicted by the wet peeling strength.SELECTED DRAWING: None
