Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating cancer.SOLUTION: There is provided a method relating to compositions containing a CDP-topoisomerase inhibitor, e.g., a CDP-camptothecin or a camptothecin derivative conjugate, e.g., CRLX101. In one aspect, a method for treating a proliferative disorder in a subject is provided. The method comprises providing at least one cycle of treatment with a composition containing CRLX10, wherein the cycle comprises providing an initial administration of the composition containing CRLX101 to the subject at a dosage more than 12 mg/m, for example, a dosage of 13 mg/m, 14 mg/m, 15 mg/m, 16 mg/m, or 17 mg/m, wherein the dosage is expressed in mg of camptothecin, as opposed to mg of conjugate.
