Abstract:
To provide a method for effectively treating a movement disorder by administration of a pharmaceutical having the characteristics of long duration of activity, low rates of diffusion out of a chosen intracranial target tissue where administered, and nominal systemic effects at therapeutic dose levels.
There are provided methods for treating a movement disorder by intracranial administration to a human patient of a therapeutically effective amount of a neurotoxin, such as a botulinum toxin type A.
