Abstract:
PURPOSE: To present the mold vibration method which can manufacture the slab with good quality by preventing the surface defect of cast slab from generating and preventing the burn-on between the cast slab and the mold on the continuous casting method.
CONSTITUTION: The casting mold vibrating method of the continuous casting machine for the molten steel changes each of the vibrating stroke and the vibration frequency independently interlocking with the casting speed so as to satisfy always the condition that the negative strip time is ≥0.1sec, ≤0.15sec, and the positive strip time is ≥0.2sec.
