Abstract:

To provide a method for vulcanizing a tire by making it possible to use a kinetic model of vulcanization of the tire being simpler and having higher reliability and by setting the degree of vulcanization of the tire beforehand, by setting structural and dimensional parameters of the tire and a mold.

This method for vulcanizing a tire 2 by setting the degree of vulcanization of the tire beforehand has a step of determining specific structural and dimensional parameters of the tire 2 and a vulcanizing mold 1, a step of determining changes of specific thermo-kinetic parameters of the tire 2, the mold 1, a heat supply fluid and a cooling fluid for a time (t), a step of determining a parameter constituted of an equivalent vulcanization time t0 and a step of determining the degree t0 of equivalent vulcanization X at specified points in the tire 2 by a curve of an equivalent and isothermal rheometry at a reference temperature T0 which is constituted of three continuous parts having the equation.
