Abstract:

To provide a method for weaving an anti-shrink pile fabric in which only the warp is subjected to anti-shrink processing, by utilizing conventional pile fabric weaving equipment.

This method for weaving the anti-shrink pile fabric comprises a beam warping process 2 where plural cellulose-based spun yarns are warped onto a beam, an anti-shrink processing/sizing process 4 where the cellulose-based spun yarns warped onto plural beams are drawn out from the plural beams to be impregnated with a sizing solution containing at least polyvinyl alcohol, a thermally cross-linkable resin, and a crosslinking catalyst, then the impregnated yarns are thermally treated to be subjected to anti-shrink processing/sizing treatment, a main warping process 6 where the plural cellulose-based spun yarns subjected to the anti-shrink processing/sizing treatment through the anti- shrink processing/sizing process are warped onto a beam, and a pile fabric weaving process 8 where the pile fabric is woven by using the cellulose-based spun yarns warped through the main warping process as pile yarns.
