Abstract:
To provide a method for winding wire capable of suppressing the disorder of a winding state of a wire in the vicinity of a collar of a bobbin due to a traverse turn by means of a traversing device of simple configuration even when intermittent tape core wire is wound around a bobbin.SOLUTION: The method for winding wire includes winding the wire around the bobbin 20 using a traversing device for traversing the wire. The wire strand constitutes an intermittent tape core wire 10 that consists of a connecting area that connects adjacent portions of a plurality of optical fiber core wires and a non-connecting area that separates adjacent portions of the optical fiber core wires. The traversing device is capable of changing a traverse speed command value. The traverse speed command value is reduced by a predetermined amount in a predetermined time until the traverse direction is reversed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
