Abstract:
The method involves engaging an article driving unit supported by rotating transfer unit (15) to a supply station (5). The transfer unit is progressively accelerated up to an output station (7) such that transfer speed at the output station is equal to an output speed of a set of articles (2). The driving unit is disengaged at the output station. Another driving unit is engaged to the output station supported by a transfer unit (16). An independent claim is also included for a device for formation and spacing of successive sets of articles.
