To provide a solid fuel production device capable of conveniently producing a solid fuel excellent in combustibility from wastes containing plastic.SOLUTION: A solid fuel production device 100 comprises a processing unit 60 for obtaining a crushed product by crushing wastes containing plastic after cooling to -20°C or less using a coolant.
